Chicago-June 2, 2003-New research presented at the 39th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology seems to indicate that patients will soon benefit from the advances that have occurred in the field of DNA profiling. Studies from the emerging field of pharmacogenomics, the analysis of a tumor's specific genetic make-up to potentially guide treatment decisions, were Presented at the ASCO Annual meeting.
